Blanket materials compared

The time has come to end the confusion.  I have been writing articles for Budget blankets for some time and I must admit, besides coral plush, I cannot describe any of our products just by hearing their respective monikers/ descriptions. What is the difference between "Micro Super Plush"  And "Super Soft Plush"

The forlorn navigator of this blanketed site may lose the will to live faced with this conundrum, the names don't give away much...

Start with the similarities: The blankets are both 100% polyester, the static-y kind.   Both fabrics boast a sort of spongy thickness.  If you grab a handful of material, and squeeze it, it rebounds slowly but surely to its original position.  These blankets do not crease easily, they don't really wrinkle.  Both have the edges folded over and sewn down to the main material.

They are both plush.  Which means that one side of the material has a neat "pile", little rings of thread all packed together, protruding from the main weave of the material.  The back side of the blanket is the plush side, all the protruding threads are cut of to the same length, as if by a polyester lawnmower.  The back or plush side is what is used for teddy bears and stuffed dinosaurs, because of its soft furry texture.

"Come on get to the point already!  Is there a difference?"  Truly there is difference, the pile or loops of thread on the Micro super plush are smaller.  It gives the blanket a faintly neater look.  Imagine the difference between shag carpet and normal medium length carpet. Plush on through the plush!  Next week, the difference between fleece and plush!
